And as we look ahead to our next most important chapter, we’re growing our team, looking for a Technical Account Manager to help strengthen and grow our existing client relationships.

This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite client meetings within the Rhode Island area approximately 20% of the time.

What You’ll Do

As a Technical Account Manager — supporting the management, client success, and growth at our top tier client accounts — at the highest level you will:

  • Interface across our existing client Software and Data leadership landscape to drive, organize, design and implement tech consulting services success
  • Directly address and prioritize support items with the client and our internal solutions teams to drive faster resolution and improve customer experience
  • Facilitate QBR’s and manage KPIs for reporting and qualitative performance
  • Coordinate and attend client demand and capacity planning sessions and collaborate with our internal pre-sales and delivery teams to maintain and grow our services footprint
  • Interact with our clients on/off-site to troubleshoot issues and provide workarounds by leveraging your understanding of SQA Group’s services and client goals and priorities
  • Develop and deliver regular operational updates and collaborate on strategic reviews
  • Conduct operational reviews to provide updates on outstanding open items, as well as strategic reviews that are focused on reviewing client’s progress against their success measures and on the achievement of their business outcomes and value
  • Drive initiatives for productivity and service quality improvement
  • Contribute on knowledge base articles for both our clients and internal staff to reduce troubleshooting time and drive faster issue resolution
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to other team members, as needed

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of professional services or consulting services experience
  • Spent your career either as a Solutions Engineer who is ready to shift out of the code and into Account Management and/or you are a technology services Sales professional who wants to focus more on account expansion and management
  • Grasp of technical landscape that includes Software/Application development activities and disciplines
  • Strong relationship building and natural curiosity questioning techniques
  • Ability to manage competing stakeholder requests seamlessly and with strong adherence to deadlines, goals and performance metrics
  • Prior background managing teams and/or a desire to be able to provide oversight, direction, and support to a large group of technical professionals
